Connections

PowerMove can utilize Connection References within PowerApps. These references are stored credentials that allow PowerApp applications to interact with external services in a secure and manageable way.

A primary connections file, which is based on the solution, is necessary to load the initial connections. This file is automatically generated during the initial setup of PowerMove, specifically after executing the “Build Development” pipeline.

Adding Connections:​

Follow these steps to add connections:

  1. Navigate to a “Solution” from the side-menu located on the left side of the interface.

  2. Under the “Deployments” section, select an environment from the provided list and click on the “Deploy” button.

  3. For each connection listed in the main connections file, an input field is provided. If the file does not exist or if there are no connections listed in the file, no input fields will be displayed.

  4. Enter a connection ID into the input field (or leave it blank). The entered data will be saved to an environment-specific connections file.

    • Each environment in PowerMove can be provided different connection ID.
