Add-External-Environments

External environments are environments owned by other users of PowerMove. With the correct permissions and configuration, they can be added manually to be managed by your organization`s PowerMove.

Access

This user must have the following roles:

  • Permissions to create service connections in Azure DevOps
Prerequisites

The environment must have been added to PowerMove in the external tenant before you can deploy to an external environment

Setup External Environments​

  1. Select "Add Environment" in the category "external environments".

  2. Type in the name of the environment

  3. Type in the correct url of the environment

    Repeat

    Repeat for all the external environments you wish to add.

  4. Optionally, add an external environment as a next environment of any type of environment.

  5. If you want access to an environments Maker Portal in PowerApps, provide a correct environment ID in the "Environment Id" input.
