New Branch Process​

The newly enhanced branch process introduces several features and benefits:

  • A dedicated status for the development environment allows developers to see whether a branch has a Dataverse development environment.
  • Builds now produce a Pull Request, which developers can approve before the code is committed to the main repository.
  • A manual verification step has been added. Only after testing is completed will the branch components be integrated into the main development environment.

Additional changes to note:

  • Status, Start Time, and Duration now appear on mouseover to conserve space and visually accommodate the new process.
  • The Build button has been relocated from the ellipse menu to the first play button.
  • A second play button has been added to the process for deploying to the main development environment after testing is complete.

Improved Update Screen​

The update screen has been made more user-friendly and now displays the statuses for all running jobs. It also clearly indicates when the update is complete.
